"Joining Chase the Victory is a no brainer for us. It is bigger than just knowing Chase and the McDaniels and the personal connection we have. It is about carrying on the legacy of Chase, but most importantly the inspiration and model he was to so many during the most difficult season in his life. It is about showing grieving families that they aren’t alone in this journey through small, simple acts of kindness. We believe God has called us to join Him where He is at work, and we are confident that He is near the brokenhearted. Kiki, Tracy, Karstyn, and Sophie have used their love for Chase to embrace grieving families with the kind of support that can only be understood by those who have been through their experience. Being surrounded by the genuine kindness of everyone involved in Chase The Victory is a gift I did not expect. Volunteering makes me feel like I am part of a team where everyone has your back. Getting to know the families and their stories is a beautiful honor, and seeing their joy and connection is the greatest feeling. Each time I am with the McDaniels and Chase The Victory volunteers and families, I look forward to when I can return. They have been some of the most rewarding days I have encountered, and I cherish these experiences."
