Sariyah Casses

My sweet amazing Sariyah, she was like no other. Instead of me saving her life she saved mine. Sariyah was strong, feisty and fierce. I admired her strength. Sariyah was diagnosed with DIPG on December 23rd of 2023. She was just a happy little girl. Full of life and joy. She was my best friend. It seems like when she got sick she was guiding to be strong and she was just as strong. We were each other’s support. She would tell me “mommy you’re a super hero” and even though I felt helpless she was also preparing me for what’s to come. My beautiful girl fought for 15 months. I just wasn’t ready to let her go we were having too much fun together but she let me know that she would be okay and so would I. Her favorite color was pink, she loved to roll her eyes and was just a fierce little girl. She loved spicy noodles and playing pretend. She would pretend to bake she had this favorite baking show on YouTube. Sariyah was before her time and the most amazing human being and I thank God for allowing me to have her even though I didn’t feel like I deserved her.
