Maddison Hight
“Ever since Maddie was little she had a spunky personality. She was a girl that knew what she liked and lived out her passions regardless of what anyone thought. Maddie was probably best known for her puppy playing role. She loved all animals but was obsessed with dogs, so much she pretended she was one daily. She’d gallop on all fours, bark and pant for what she wanted, and even lift a leg just to add her own flare. Maddie carried her passion for animals with her into her teens. She adopted a cat from her part-time job’s dumpster and assumed all responsibility in taking care of Bella. Maddie also had a passion for waffles and cheese, not necessarily together, but they were a well-known staple in her diet. In fact, when she was older, the workers at Waffle House knew her and her order when she’d often stop by on her way home from work. Maddie was kind and accepting and made sure those around her felt special. She was in her high school concert band and played the clarinet. She enjoyed hanging out with the friends she made there. She liked buying make-up at Ulta and learning new routines and ways to apply her new purchases. Maddie loved talking on the phone with her friends and I could hear her laughing hysterically with them all the way upstairs. Maddie was a light to all that knew her and she left an impression on so many people near and far that knew her story. She is greatly and deeply missed, and my wish is that her light continues to shine through others that knew her.”
